1. Agreement
By accessing or using our website, creating an account, purchasing tickets, submitting bookings, registering a club, or using related services, you agree to these Terms & conditions and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. Who we are
The services are operated by 1919 Sportz Cricket Stadium, 1919 Sportz Cricket Stadium, Verna IDC, Nr. Asian Paint Warehouse, Goa, Verna, Goa, India. Notices may be sent to bookings@1919sportz.in or via the contact form.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering or booking. You are responsible for safeguarding passwords and for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, pose a security risk, or misuse the services. Separate login areas (e.g. club manager, scorer, or official portals) may have additional rules shown in those products.
4. Tickets and events
- Event listings, prices, seating categories, and schedules are subject to change. We will use reasonable efforts to reflect accurate information online.
- Unless stated otherwise at purchase, tickets are for admission to the specified event only. Resale or transfer may be restricted by event organisers or law.
- Refunds, exchanges, and cancellations follow the policy stated at checkout, on the event page, or in communications from us or the organiser. Weather, safety, force majeure, or regulatory directions may require postponement, relocation, or cancellation; remedies will be communicated as applicable. For venue hire and pitch rental, see also section 6 (Refund and cancellation policy).
- Entry is subject to venue rules, bag checks, and steward instructions. We may refuse entry or remove anyone who endangers safety, breaches conditions of entry, or behaves unlawfully.
5. Venue hire, pitch rental, club bookings, and payments
Requests submitted through the site (including club venue bookings) are subject to confirmation, availability, and written or system-recorded acceptance by us. Online payments may be processed by certified payment partners; you agree to their terms where presented at payment. You are responsible for accurate billing details. Chargebacks or payment disputes may affect fulfilment of bookings until resolved.
Venue hire and on-site rules (organisers / renters)
- Advance: 50% advance payment is mandatory for confirmation of a booking.
- Balance: The balance must be cleared at least 15 days before the event start date.
- Security deposit: Any damage to property will be recovered from the organiser. An additional amount equal to 50% of the match fee is collected as a security deposit; it will be refunded if there is no damage to the property or premises.
- No fireworks, alcohol, or hazardous materials are allowed on the premises.
- Organisers are responsible for guest conduct and cleanliness.
- Management reserves the right to cancel or refuse a booking without notice in case of violation of these terms or venue rules.
- Ground etiquette: Proper ground etiquette must be followed — for example, no slippers and no short pants where our dress code applies.
- Teams or groups that do not follow stadium protocol may be asked to vacate the stadium. Management holds full rights to do so if the party does not adhere to the policies.
- Renters must keep noise levels within reasonable limits, especially when play extends into the evening, to respect surrounding residences and businesses.
- Smoking is prohibited on the playing field and in enclosed facilities. Alcohol is not permitted anywhere in the stadium and playing facility. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
- The renter must ensure the ground and facilities are left clean and tidy. All litter and rubbish must be placed in designated bins. A cleaning fee may be deducted from the security deposit if the area is left unsatisfactory.
- Appropriate sports shoes are compulsory while playing.
- Additional play time: INR 25,000 plus applicable taxes (flat rate) will be charged for each additional hour of play beyond the booked slot.
6. Refund and cancellation policy
Different services may have different rules. Event tickets and merchandise follow the policy stated at checkout, on the event page, or in communications from us or the organiser (including weather, safety, force majeure, or regulatory changes).
Venue hire / pitch rental
- Cancellations within 30 days of the event start date: 100% retention — no refund of amounts paid, subject to applicable law.
- Payment milestones (including the 50% advance and balance due 15 days before the event) are part of your contractual commitment; failure to pay on time may result in cancellation or loss of the slot, as communicated at booking.
- Security deposit handling is described in section 5 above; deductions may apply for damage, cleaning, or other recoverable costs.
If you believe a refund or adjustment is warranted in exceptional circumstances, contact us at bookings@1919sportz.in with your booking reference. We will respond in line with these terms and applicable law.
7. Club registration and programmes
Club applications, approvals, and programme features (including “Club Pro” or similar tiers) are governed by our operational rules, fees displayed at registration or upgrade, and any separate communications we send. We may approve, defer, or decline applications in line with venue policy.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the services for unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory purposes;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data;
- Introduce malware, overload infrastructure, or scrape the site in a way that harms performance or breaches robots or rate limits;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use another person’s credentials;
- Use automated means to purchase tickets or circumvent purchase limits where prohibited.
9. Intellectual property
Content on this website (text, graphics, logos, layout, software) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or with our written permission. Trademarks and league or event names may belong to third parties; no licence is granted except as stated on specific pages.
10. Third-party services
We may link to or embed services (e.g. maps, payment gateways, social login). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices; we are not responsible for their content or availability.
11. Disclaimers
The website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Information is for general guidance; final terms of a booking or ticket purchase are those confirmed at checkout or in a written agreement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in India, we and our directors, staff, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the services in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim, or INR 5,000, whichever is greater, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other non-excludable rights).
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1919 Sportz Cricket Stadium and its personnel against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of the services, or violation of third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, courts at Goa, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless another forum is required by statute.
15. General
- If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in effect.
- Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
- You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganisation.
